WELCOME TO MY WORLD OF NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE.
As a naturopathic clinician, I empower my clients to take health into their own hands. I passionately believe an individualised approach to health is the best way to find lasting vitality in the face of chronic illness, mental health challenges and major life transitions.
My Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Health Science from Wellpark College, majoring in Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine, with a Diploma in Nutrition. I've since completed advanced training in the Neurological Integration System (NIS) through Neurolink, adding another tool to my clinical practice, and I'm also a qualified yoga teacher.
In my final year of study, I was awarded the New Zealand Naturopathic Case Study Award and presented my research on the naturopathic treatment of comorbid Major Depression and Anxiety at the New Zealand Naturopathic Conference.
In 2019, I travelled to a world-renowned health centre in California, where I trained under leading practitioners in a comprehensive nutrition and lifestyle program and gained experience in supervised water-only fasting.
I'm committed to staying at the forefront of research and clinical practice, and I regularly attend conferences both domestically and internationally, most recently the World Naturopathic Federation Conference in Paris, France. I've undertaken comprehensive diagnostics training in laboratory testing and master lab test analysis, as well as advanced thyroid and adrenal lab test diagnostics. This training has been invaluable in helping my clients understand their lab results and what's truly optimal for their individual health, beyond general reference ranges.
Communication and the nervous system are an important component of my work. I've completed extensive hours of training in NVC and also completed Deb Dana's Applied Polyvagal Theory in Clinical Practice course for clinicians, which brings a nervous-system-informed lens to my work with clients.
My Journey to Health
Suffering from chronic fatigue for much of my childhood, I found myself burnt out at 15 years old. I was told there wasn’t anything more conventional medicine could do for me. Slowly, I educated myself on natural wellness and began to incorporate dietary changes, functional nutrition, yoga and Neurological Integration System (NIS) into my life. Little by little, I felt stronger, healthier and more resilient.

Food was a big part of my journey. From a young age, my mother taught me how to grow food.
At some point I stopped eating vegetables and began eating more processed foods. When I became sick in my teens, I realised how much better I felt when my diet included more whole plant foods. I started a veggie garden and got to know local growers at the farmers market. I learned about the chemicals used in food growing and removed processed foods from my diet. ‘Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food’ rung true!
A crucial tipping point in my healing journey came about when I became a patient at Santa Rosa, California’s renowned True North Health Clinic to undergo a supervised water-only fast and learn a health promoting diet. It was completely transformative. Not only in helping me find vitality, but in igniting my passion to help others achieve wellness through natural health. I made the decision to become a naturopath using therapeutic nutraceutical, diet and herbs as medicine to bring wellness into the lives of my loved ones, clients and communities.
I returned to True North seven years later as a naturopath to train in the leading health program and supervise individuals undergoing water-only fasting. I now offer online fasting telehealth support for many of my clients.
